- How do I arrange installation?
- Please have your invoice number (found on the main invoice attached to your product) available as you will need to quote this number to the installation-booking agent.. You will also need some other information i.e. Make and Model of the FreeSat product you have purchased, your property details (address, contact details etc). The installation team will then book a visit for one of our qualified engineers to carry out the installation when convenient. Please also ensure that you have all the necessary HDMI, SCART or Component leads prior to installation as these cables may not be included as part of the installation (also available from the website if required)
- What happens next?
- On the day of the installation our engineers will call you before 10:00am to comfirm their arrival time. On arrival the engineer will explain what he will be doing and obtain your agreement to that plan. He will also give you a full demonstration of the product to ensure that you can make the most of your new purchase
- What is covered by / included with the standard installation service?
- A standard installation is suitable for a single Standard OR High Definition FreeSat product. The installation will include our installation partners supplying one satellite dish with a single feed to a single room, a suitable wall bracket for mounting the dish and completing the installation at a height below the gutter level of any domestic property up to 3 storey’s high. Also included is the supply and install of CAI-approved (The Confederation of Aerial Installers) coaxial cable complete with F-type connectors connecting the Satellite dish to the receiving product purchased. The coaxial cable will be secured to the Satellite dish and wall using cable clips, ties and tape where appropriate.
- The engineer will also scan / tune all available channels into your new FreeSat product and then provide you with a demonstration on how to use your new FeeSat product.
- What is not covered / included with the standard installation service?
- As per the terms and conditions at the time of purchase the standard service does not cover Commercial premises or installations in blocks of flats. All standard installations are up to gutter height only and a maximum of 3 storey’s high. If you require anything additional that is not covered by the standard installation such as having the satellite dish mounted on a chimney - the installation engineer will discuss the additional fees for any such service when they arrive to assess the job (any additional fees will be payable directly to the engineer for which a separate invoice will be provided) - please mention any additional requirements
