How to tell a TV is compatible
The technical requirements can be a lot to take in, so we make it easy for you and display the HD-Ready logo on all compatible TVs. These TVs meet the below requirements:
There must be a DVI (Digital Video Interface) or HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) connection and it must be HDCP compliant.
The TV must have a minimum resolution of 720 lines in wide aspect ratio (e.g. a 1024 x 768 would be fine).
Your screen must support 1080i and 720p format.
I've got my TV, what do I do now?
You will need to subscribe to a Sky HD package to receive High Definition channels.
When you subscribe you will get a Sky HD box and the Sky installer will connect the box to your TV using a HDMi cable. This is like a SCART cable but more advanced, so it’s able to transfer all the info from the box to the TV.
