Power Levels

Microwave power is measured in watts. The power rating is displayed on the front of the microwave. Food which is designed to be microwaveable will display the appropriate power levels on the packet, so you know how long you should cook it for. Microwave power can range from 600 - 1100 watts. The higher the wattage the quicker your food will cook, so buy the highest within your budget.
