Over the years EmpireDirect.co.uk has become synonymous with excellent service and great online savings but our bargain prices have now hit the high street. Not only that, we’ve broken the mould of many high street retailers that over-charge customers who buy in-store. At Empiredirect.co.uk we believe in transparency and so we offer the same prices you see on our award winning website in our Electrical Warehouses, all 14 of them!
Where can I Click and Collect?
We currently have 14 Electrical Warehouses for you to choose to collect from and we’re always on the lookout for new opportunities to further expand our high street presence. Currently we have stores in:

How does it work?
It couldn’t be easier...
- Choose your product(s) online
- Add them to your basket and proceed to checkout
- Select ‘Next Day Collection’
- Provide us with your postcode
- We’ll tell you which branch(es) are holding stock and their distance from you
- Choose your preferred store and complete your purchase
- We’ll contact you when your order is ready for collection!
How long before I can collect and what do I need to take?
If your item is in stock at your preferred store you’ll be able to collect as soon as your order has been processed, stock verified and reserved and we’ve given you a quick courtesy call with confirmation your order is ready for collection. This shouldn’t be longer than 24 hours.
If we’re transferring stock from our Distribution Centre to your store of choice it may take a little longer but, don’t worry, we’ll keep you posted with timescales and estimate it should take no longer than 3 working days.
For your security, and to avoid delays when you get to the store, we’d politely ask that you take the following with you when you go to collect:
- Your order reference number
- The payment card you used for the purchase
- Photographic identification (such as passport, drivers license)
- Verification of your address (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement)
