Accuracy of Product Information

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of Empiredirect.co.uk is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, Empiredirect.co.uk cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

Product Availability

At Empiredirect we carry huge stockholdings of products at our National Distribution Centre to ensure speedy delivery of your ordered items.

In Stock arrow
Audio Visual Products (exc 28" CTV's & above):
Products are in stock at our National Distribution Centre for immediate dispatch. We estimate delivery within 3 working days from cleared payment.
Major Domestic Appliances & Large TV (28" & above):
Delivery is individually routed and booked and will take between 5-10 working days (depending on your postcode area) from cleared payment.
Delivered Normally Within 7-10 Days arrow
These items are either on order with the manufacturer and / or in transit to our National Distribution Centre - we estimate that delivery will generally be 7-10 days. Should there be any change to these timescales, you will be duly contacted and notified.
Pre-Order Now arrow
This product is either not currently in the manufacturer's range and is due to be released in the next 30 days, or the product has very recently been released and demand is high. As soon as this item is available your order will be treated as a priority above others and delivered direct to your door. Delivery times of up to 30 days are possible. We will of course contact you should delivery arrangements differ from this.
Specially Ordered For You arrow
The product will be ordered direct from the manufacturer upon receipt of your order. We estimate delivery time to be 10-14 working days depending upon availability from the manufacturer. We will of course contact you should delivery arrangements differ from this.

All delivery times are estimates only and some products may take longer due to circumstances beyond our control.

Our call centre will contact you with expected delivery days upon receipt of your order.

Please note some products may take longer due to shortages from the manufacturers. Our call centre will advise you of this upon receipt of order.

Returns and Refunds Policy

You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from delivery. You must notify us by phone of your intention to cancel within 7 working days from delivery. After notification we will issue you a returns number that you must quote on the paperwork when returning the goods.

  • Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging with all components and accessories.
  • Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (eg if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.
  • Goods must be returned to our Returns Department within 14 days from authorisation. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non-faulty items after the 14 days.
  • Television stands must not have been opened from their original packaging.
  • Any 'FREE GIFTS' with the products must also be returned.

We are unable to accept returns of the following items: Opened Pre-recorded videotapes, DVDs, CDs, Minidiscs, games and software, the goods were a special order to the customer's specification, products with contract services that have been connected (i.e mobiles).

Please note :

You must organise the return the unwanted items at your expense and risk. Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorisation and a returns authorisation number. The returns authorisation is valid for up to 14 days only. Goods sent back without prior returns authorisation will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

Refunds :

Full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorised only after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.

  • Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging including all accessories and in a re-sellable condition: You will be refunded the full invoice amount less cost of delivery.
  • Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging but with accessories missing: You will be refunded the full Invoice price - less delivery charges and cost of accessories as listed below.
  • Goods received back not in a re-sellable condition: We are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

  • Television stands missing or incomplete will be charged at the full replacement cost of the stand plus 15% handling fees.
